Essentia

Essentia makes limited-edition, 3D-printed objects handcrafted in Copenhagen from 100% recycled plastic.

The Illumina vase

Essentia CPH's artistic vase, Illumina, was born from a vision to create an object that feels alive, an innovative design shaped with care for the environment. The inspiration comes from fluid movement, with flowing layers designed to catch the light differently throughout the day, much like sunlight playing across the rhythms of the sea.

The result is a vase with a dynamic, organic expression that shifts with the light and the space around it.

Production and exclusivity

Each vase is crafted in Copenhagen using innovative 3D-printing technology, taking between six and eight hours to produce. A maximum of five pieces are made of each design, making every vase part of a highly limited and exclusive series.

Pieces are produced on demand, so only what is requested is made, minimizing overproduction and unnecessary waste.

Material and Responsibility

The collection is made from 100% recycled plastic in the form of a premium 3D-printing filament, prized for its high quality and traceability, and sourced locally wherever possible to keep the CO₂ footprint to a minimum.

By transforming collected plastic waste into new, durable objects, Essentia reduces the need for raw materials while giving the material new life, new value, and a story of its own. Essentia is where aesthetics and responsibility go hand in hand.
