Welcome to Stille Studio. We curate and offer a considered selection of locally crafted, handmade design objects created by independent artisans in Denmark and beyond. These Terms of service outline how we operate and what you can expect when purchasing from us.

2. Scope of Agreement

These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made through our webshop. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

We aim to make your experience with Stille Studio as seamless and transparent as possible. If anything is unclear, you are always welcome to contact us.

3. Products and Pricing

All prices are listed in DKK and include VAT where applicable.

Each product is created by independent artisans and produced handmade or with mechanical tools in small batches. As a result, variations in form, color, texture, and finish are natural and part of the object's unique character. These are not considered defects but an inherent quality of handcrafted and non-industrial work.

We take care to present products as accurately as possible, but slight differences may occur due to screen settings and photographic representation.

4. Ordering Process

When you place an order, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt.

A binding agreement is formed once your order has been confirmed and processed.

We reserve the right to cancel orders in the event of pricing errors, stock discrepancies, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be notified and fully refunded.

5. Payment

We accept payment via payment methods listed on the checkout page.

Payment is captured when your order is prepared for shipment.

All transactions are processed securely.

6. Delivery and Shipping

We ship within Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

While we work with trusted carriers, delivery times are estimates and delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control.

The risk of loss or damage to your order passes to you once you (or a third party you nominate) have taken physical possession of the goods. If your parcel is lost or arrives damaged in transit, please contact us — this is our responsibility to resolve, not yours.

7. Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, starting from the day you (or a third party you nominate, other than the carrier) take physical possession of your order.

You must return the item within 14 days after notifying us.

Please note that items made to your specific order or specification — for example, custom sizing, engraving, or a bespoke material/colour combination made at your request — are not eligible for return. This does not apply to ready-made items simply because they are handmade or one-of-a-kind.

8. Returns and Refunds

Returned items must be in their original condition and packaging.

Unless otherwise agreed, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Once we receive the returned item, or you provide proof of return shipment (whichever is earlier), we will refund the price paid plus the standard delivery cost (excluding any upgraded or express shipping you chose), within 14 days, using your original payment method.

9. Complaints (Reklamationsret)

Under Danish law, you have a 2-year right to file a complaint regarding defects present at the time of delivery, even if they only become apparent later. This does not cover normal wear and tear or the natural variations described in Section 3.

If you receive an item with a fault or defect, please contact us promptly with a description and relevant images. We will assess the issue and offer repair, replacement, a price reduction, or refund where appropriate.

10. Responsibility as Seller

All products offered on this webshop are sold by Stille Studio.

We collaborate with independent artisans who create the products, but Stille Studio is the contractual seller and is responsible for:

Customer service
Order fulfillment
Shipping and logistics
Returns and refunds

This ensures a consistent and reliable experience for our customers.

11. Liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

We are not responsible for delays or failure to fulfill obligations caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to shipping disruptions, natural events, or supply issues.

Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights as a consumer under Danish law, including your right of withdrawal (Section 7) and your right to complain about defects (Section 9).

12. Personal Data

We process your personal data in accordance with the GDPR, the Danish Data Protection Act, and our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Danish law, and any disputes shall be resolved before the Danish courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules of your own country of residence if you are a consumer based elsewhere in the EU.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time, for example to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date. Orders placed before a change took effect remain governed by the terms in place at the time of that order.
